At its annual staff appreciation event, the School of Architecture and Planning (SA+P) recognized the outstanding contributions of three staff members who received the Infinite Mile Award. This honor celebrates individuals who have gone above and beyond their roles, as recognized by their peers.
This year’s awardees are: Nicole Degnan, Director of Finance at the MIT Media Lab; Candido Monteiro, Facilities Assistant at the Media Lab; and Lauren Schuller, Diversity, Equity and Belonging Officer in the Department of Architecture. Department heads and administrators shared excerpts from submissions for each awardee.
SA+P Dean Hashim Sarkis kicked off the event, saying the letters supporting the nominations demonstrated how much staff across the School rely on each other and love one another.
